Eric James
June 24, 1925 - May 7, 2006
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, he served in the British Army in North Africa prior to immigrating to Canada in 1948. He moved to Campbell River, married, and was a proud father to 4 wonderful children. He was a carpenter by trade and a member of the Canadian Legion. Eric fully engaged life, and was happiest in his retirement years camping, fishing and enjoying the company of friends at the Beaver Tail campsite.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Meckin, Dr. James, Home Care Nursing, and the nurses at Campbell River Hospital for the excellent care Eric received over the years.
He will be greatly missed by his loving sister Isabel Warner, extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 13th, at 12:30 at The Royal Canadian Legion Hall.
