gently passed away September 20, 2005 at Burnaby Hospital.

Elmer was predeceased by Noreen, his wife of 50 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Agnes (Dick); children Valerie, Eric (Irene), Melva (Blair), and Terry (Jocelyn); by his grandchildren Lucas, Erica, Tanya and Warren.

Elmer Forsberg was born in Port Alberni April 22, 1922, and lived on Vancouver Island most of his life. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Canadian Army in Europe and worked for the Federal Department of Fisheries and Oceans for more than 25 years.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at St. John’s United Church, 1401 Comox Street, Vancouver, on Saturday, October 1st at 11:00am.

Special thanks to the staff of the George Derby Centre in Burnaby for their help during Elmer’s residence there.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Council of Senior Citizens Organizations of B.C., 6079 - 184 A Street, Surrey, BC, V3S 7P7.
