Elisabeth Thekla Lam (Schultz)
May 22, 1935 – October 24, 2010
Elisabeth Lam passed away at Campbell River Hospital with her family by her side on Sunday, October 24, 2010. She leaves behind her husband of 50 years, Tin Cheong, her son Klaus, her daughters Susannah (Shawn) and Edith (James); and one granddaughter, Brenna. She also leaves behind her sister Irmgard. Elisabeth was born in Rheine, Germany and lived in various parts of the world before retiring to Campbell River. She was a very private person who enjoyed art, music and her garden. In accordance with her wishes there will be a private service at a later date. If so desired, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Vancouver Island Home Care nurses, Home Support and the nurses at Campbell River Regional District Hospital for their compassion and caring. It made a difference.
