Don has touched many lives during his life. After a short battle with cancer, Don passed away surrounded by his loving family. Don was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was very generous and quick to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, wood working, beach combing with his beloved springer spaniel, Jock, and in recent years with his dear friend John Hicks.
He leaves behind his wife Lorna, daughter Alanna Stewart, son Ian MacLeod, and grandchildren Carly and Brett Stewart and Jenna and Sara MacLeod, and his dear little dog Sunny. He was loved by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Don is predeceased by his father Angus (Buster) MacLeod, his mother Gladys MacLeod and his brother David McLeod. He will be missed.
There will be no service at this time as per Don’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SPCA or a charity of your choice.
