David Alan Lowrey

April 3, 1945 – January 3, 2009


David passed away peacefully on January 3, 2009. David was born in New Westminster, raised in Coquitlam and retired to Campbell River, B.C.


David was a deeply Spiritual man, a loving Husband, a wonderful Father and a very proud Papa. He was a thoughtful, insightful, solitary man, but above all he valued and loved his family. While David bravely battled his illness, his loving Wife Pat was always by his side. She attentively cared for him and greatly enhanced his quality of life. She was the love of his life and his reason for living.


David is survived and ever loved by Pat, his Wife of 43 years, his two Sons, Shawn (Tracy), Steven (Jennifer), his Grandchildren Liam and Kiera, Brothers Stan (Evelyn), Dennis (Anita), Wayne (Barb), Rob(Sue), Sisters Diane (Gerry), MaryAnn (Dean); as well as many Nieces and Nephews.


David will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his Loving Family and many friends for his honesty, integrity and loyalty.


The Family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Meckin, Dr. Mahoney, Dr Booth, the Home Care Nurses (North Team), the Nurses of Alder Medical Clinic and the Staff at Evergreen Pharmacy and the Nursing Staff of 3 North Wing, Campbell River Hospital.


A Celebration of Life will be held at The Royal Canadian Legion in Campbell River, at 12.00 noon on Saturday January 10, 2009.


Donations in David’s Memory may be made to the Heart/Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Society or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
