Bruce Edward Johansen

Bruce was born on October 27, 1956 in Sudbury, Ontario. He passed away on January 29, 2009 in Campbell River, BC. at the age of 52 years. Bruce is survived by his loving family: wife, Wendy; children, Amanda (Stu) and Aaron; twin grandchildren, Olivia Beverly and Gracie Jean; brothers, Karl (Donna), Mark (Debbie), Martin, Ken (Terry) and David (Lissi). He is also survived by his mother, Lily; his father, Rolf (Anne); nieces, nephews, other relatives and many good friends.

Bruce loved fishing, hunting, boating, and most of all loved spending time with his grandbabies. He was always there to help, never farther than a phone call away. Bruce was a wonderful, caring man, who gave 100% to his life. Bruce was a member of the Campbell River Power Squadron.

A Service to Celebrate the Life of Bruce Johansen, will be held at Sutton’s Funeral Chapel, 502 South Dogwood Street, Campbell River, BC on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 2:00 PM with the Reverend Dr. Blair Haggart officiating. A Reception will follow next door at the Elks Hall. If friends so desire, donations in Memory of Bruce may be made to the B.C Children’s Hospital, 4480 Oak Street, Vancouver, B.C., V6H 3V4 or at www.BCChildrens.ca .
