It is with great sadness that the family of the late Augustus C. (Gus) Garnier announce his sudden passing in St. George's, NL on Monday, November 9th, 2009 at the age of 75 years.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 30 years Elizabeth, six sons: Jim, Greg, Shayne all of British Columbia, Jason (Jennifer) of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Wade (Jolene) of British Columbia,
Evan of British Columbia, three daughters: Michelle and Jacqueline, both of Edmonton, Alberta, Linnea of British Columbia, two brothers: Alvin (Gail) Garnier of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Harry Young of Campbell River, British
Columbia, two sisters: Betty Garnier of St.George's, Mavis (Lawrence) White of St. George's, two aunts: Angela Benes of Stephenville, Gladys Garnier of Stephenville Crossing, 16 grandchildren and a large circle of
nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his Father Hubert Blanchard, one brother, Howard Young, one sister, Patrica Young.
Friends called at St. Joseph's Parish, St. George, NL. Funeral services took place on Saturday November 14 at 10:00am with the Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Shallop Cove. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donation would be greatly appreciated c/o Betty Garnier. Funeral arrangements were done under Russells Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
(Now I lay my Father to sleep, he waits for us all
