Allan John GLENDINNING

GLENDINNING,

Passed away at his home in Campbell River on Monday, April 16th, 2007, with his loving wife Lynne by his side.

He is survived by a brother Harry of Kamloops, B.C., sister Doreen (Roy) of Richmond, B.C., Annie (John) of Surrey, B.C., Aunt Doris, together with many nieces and nephews. Allan and Lynne were local fishermen and loved being of the water together. He enjoyed golfing and especially his yearly golf trips with the boys. Allan was a wonderful husband, and best friend.

“You are my buddy, and will be dearly missed…….Till we meet again”

For those wishing a donation in Allan’s memory to the Salvation Army or The War Amps of Canada, or a charity of your choice would be kindly appreciated.

Thank you to all our special friends: Nora and Lorne Grieve, and Barry and Ellen Nelson, and Sharon Malley and Tom Woods, and all our other special friends that phoned to check on A.J. and offer their help in any way they could. Thanks as well to Dr. Beselt and Barb and Maria in Medical Day Services and the Palliative Nurses and the Emergency Dept. at Campbell River Hospital. We could not have done it without their help.

A celebration of Allan’s Life will be held at a later date.
