An Alberta woman who had been searching for her sister says she has been found safe and sound.
Amanda Hawkins said her sister, Cassie Hopkins, 25, who was camping on Vancouver Island three other people, was found at a hike-in campsite at San Josef Bay near Port Hardy.
Hawkins became worried after she said her sister had last posted on Facebook Saturday evening, saying she would be out of cell phone range until Monday.
Hawkins said the post was traced to Campbell River and that was the last time she had heard from Hopkins who is from Vancouver.
