The cruise ship Noordam attracted a lot of attention Saturday night when it stopped in Discovery Passage and appeared to drift.
It was however stopping to allow for a medical evacuation, according to Campbell River Coast Guard who conducted the removal of a woman, her husband and their luggage utilizing the Coast Guard Vessel Cape Palmerston. Within 20 minutes the vessel was back underway.
