After 10 years of hosting the Swing for Charity Golf Tournament, the Campbell River Community Foundation has decided to introduce a new annual fundraiser in its place, set to roll out in the spring of 2017. The new spring event will first be held at Balance Equestrian Centre and will feature a dinner and barn dance with a live band and line dancing.
“We’re all really excited about it,” says Foundation Board Member and Special Events Chair, Amanda Raleigh. “It’ll be fun to celebrate our recent projects and recognize our donors with a new energy and venue.”
The board is also introducing a series of presentations, starting with a luncheon at the Maritime Heritage Centre on May 27 at 11:30 a.m.
