Re: truck crash into the wall of A&W restaurant

In a story on April 27 (published April 26 online) about a truck that crashed into the A&W Restaurant at Discovery Harbour Mall, the driver was charged under the Motor Vehicle Act with an immediate 90-day roadside suspension. The driver told the Campbell River Mirror that the 90-day suspension stemmed from a refusal to blow into a breathalyzer device and that the unnamed driver says the refusal to blow arose from medical conditions making blowing "impossible." The driver denies that she was impaired.
