Police seek dirt bike rider after gas station held up

At approximately 6 a.m. on Tuesday (Feb. 23), the Quinsam Shell station was robbed. A male approached the counter and threatened the cashiers with a knife, demanding the cash from the business' tills. He fled the scene on a royal blue dirt bike. The suspect male is described as; approximately 6 ft, 250lbs, large build, and was wearing a full face red/white/blue helmet, a camo jacket, green cargo pants, and dark coloured gloves. The investigation is still ongoing. Campbell River RCMP is asking if the public has any information on this crime please contact 250-286-6221 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
