Hydro crew extinguishes fire

Campbell River resident Molly Eichar captured this photo of a BC Hydro crew extinguishing a fire that broke out on a power pole around 6:17 this evening on 7th Avenue.

Campbell River firefighters responded to the blaze as well and kept bystanders a safe distance away and waited for BC Hydro. The Hydro crew arrived around 6:59 and quickly got the blaze under control.
