It’s a victory in pink for the Campbell River Food Bank: Bank of Montreal Commercial Account Manager Philip Griffith turn over 300 pounds of donated food and $170 in cash to Food Bank volunteer Greg Mytron. Griffith had challenged his colleagues and customers to match his weight – 250 pounds – in food for the needy and he would dye his hair pink. On Friday he delivered. “I felt I had to do something to help. The Food Bank is such a great community volunteer organization and it deserves all the help we can give,” he said.
