Campbell River police busy

In the last week police responded to 302 calls for service. There were 18 reported persons offences and 47 property related offences. Police arrested five impaired drivers, and issued five 24-hour roadside suspensions. Police attended seven motor vehicle collisions that resulted in minor injury or property damage.  Police also dealt with 24 incidents of people intoxicated in public or causing a disturbance.
