Armed robber hits Mac's convenience store

Mac’s convenience store was the target of an armed robbery early Thursday morning.

A lone male entered the Rockland Road store brandishing a firearm at approximately 2 a.m., according to RCMP.

The suspect male demanded cigarettes and cash from the store clerk before fleeing on foot.

The suspect is described as being of medium build, approximately 5’8 to 5’9 and was wearing dark clothing.
