Residential B&E
A residence on Birch Street was the victim of a break and enter July 2 at 3:26 p.m., according to RCMP.
Investigators determined that unknown suspects had stole a number of items from the home including a TV, laptop and cash. Entry had been gained through an unlocked door.
Ferry terminal disturbance
RCMP responded to an incident at the Quadra Ferry Terminal at Quathiaski Cove June 28 at about 5:15 p.m.
Investigators learned that a 37-year-old male had punched a 32-year-old female and pushed her out of the vehicle. The male was arrested and will be charged with assault, according to RCMP.
Hit and run
RCMP responded to a report of an Island Link Van deliberately ramming a boat on a boat trailer on Spit Road on June 30 at 10:23 p.m.
The suspect vehicle fled the area but was located a short time later in an alley behind the Quinsam Hotel. An RCMP investigation revealed that the Island Link Van had been stolen and had sustained extensive damage.
Damage to the boat and the van was in excess of $20,000.
