Driver seriously injured in crash
A 32-year-old Campbell River man was seriously injured in crash west of the city on Friday morning.
The driver was the only occupant in the single vehicle crash which occurred on Highway 28, 12 kilometres west of Campbell River.
The man was taken by ambulance to Campbell River hospital and then airlifted to hospital in Victoria, due to the severity of his injuries.
The accident remains under investigation by North Island Traffic Services.
