Drunk driver suspected of doing ‘donuts’
A man facing impaired driving charges could also be charged with mischief after someone did “donuts” on the Carihi Secondary sports field. Police were alerted to a unknown driver doing donuts on the field on Saturday at 1:30 a.m. Officers found the suspect vehicle and stopped the 24-year-old driver who showed signs of impairment. He later failed a breath test.
His driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
