Jewelry stolen during break-in

Two thieves are wanted following a break-in at Peoples Jewelers.

According to police, the “darkly clad” culprits were seen smashing the glass window on Tuesday around 8:50 p.m. They entered the store at 1436 Island Hwy. and fled with an undisclosed amount of jewelry

The pair made off in a newer model dark-coloured van.

Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
