New Horizons residents and staff get ready to host family and friends

Residents at New Horizons Care celebrate their fourth annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, Aug. 25.

Last year the care home on 14th Avenue welcomed well over 300 family and friends.  This free family event was, and is, a grand means of welcoming in the harvest season.

Activities this year include a barbeque, live music by several performers, games, a baking contest, vintage vehicles provided by the Vintage Car Club of Canada (North Island Chapter), and much more.

The fun starts at 11 a.m. and runs to 5 p.m.
