Have you ever wanted to try bellydancing?

Here is your chance.  On Wednesday, Sept. 7, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Tricia Campbell, Goddess Bellydance will share a free introductory lesson on the ancient form of bellydancing at Urban Dance Connection-. All ladies welcome.

Campbell, a well know local belly dancer and instructor has been teaching and sharing her love of Belly Dance in the Campbell River community for -years.

“Bellydance is a total workout for the body, mind and spirit connection,” says Campbell. “Dancing provides thorough, non-impact, fat burning exercises that will tone and sculpt your muscles while having fun.”

“The wonderful thing about belly dancing is anyone can do it. Goddesses come in all shapes, sizes and ages.”

The physiological benefits of dance include improved fitness, better circulation, suppleness and correction of postural alignment. On a body confidence level, many women feel they regain their ‘feminine self’ by becoming more comfortable with their bodies through belly dancing.
