With the effort to create a professional drag racing track underway in Campbell River, it’s worth pointing out that drag racing culture in Campbell River is nothing new.
The website Vancouver Island Hot Rods (www.vihr.ca) posted a gallery of pictures from drag racing in the late 1970’s at Menzies Bay.
