The first ever Campbell River Arts Expo attracted roughly 58 artists who had their works on display for all to see at the Community Centre last weekend.

The annual event provided a look at art from both Canadian and International artists and an opportunity to speak with the artists one-on-one.

The expo kicked off with a Black and White-themed gala at the Maritime Heritage Centre with a catered dinner, cocktails, art auctions and networking.

The Art Expo also featured a print store in the upstairs lounge of the Community Centre which sold some of the artist’s favourite prints as a way of maintaining the integrity of their original art.
