On August 12, 2016, members of the local chapter of the Eagle Riders Motorcycle Club handed out the proceeds from the Campbell River Poker Run to two worthy charities.
Channing Knull, Vancouver Island coordinator for Wounded Warriors Canada and Shayleen Harris, co-founder of Cameryn’s Cause for Kids Society each accepted a cheque for $2,000. The Eagle Riders would like to once again thank all the sponsors who helped make this possible.
The organizers are already busy preparing for next year’s event tentatively scheduled for June 25, 2017
