Leave a lasting legacy; Contribute to the Campbell River Community Foundation

The net interest on Campbell River’s fund is used to meet the needs of local non-profit organizations

The Campbell River Community Foundation (CRCF) has reached $2 million in its permanent endowment fund.

This is invested through the Vancouver Foundation, which manages it along with many other community foundation funds, for a very reasonable administration fee. The net interest on Campbell River’s fund is returned annually and is used to meet the needs of local non-profit organizations. All requests for grants are screened by a committee consisting of some CRCF board members and local citizens. This year, they have awarded $68,000 to 19 local groups from 37 applicants.

The foundation board continues to reach out to the community in the hope of increasing the permanent endowment fund. All donations add to the annual amount the foundation can give back to the community. All donors will receive a charitable tax receipt. One of the Fund Development Directors will be happy to meet with you in the near future to discuss a contribution and outline the various ways that this can be accomplished.
