The annual initiative – made possible by support from the Campbell River Community Foundation and the Pacific Salmon Foundation – saw banners hung all over town earlier this summer. The banners will be coming down shortly, but Blackburn hopes to double the capacity of the project next year in celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday.
