Miller appointed to film body
Vancouver Island North film commission’s Joan Miller was named first vice president of the Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI). Five film commissioners representing four countries were named to positions at the AFCI’s board meeting on Jan. 15.
President: George David, Royal Film Commission - JORDAN.
First V-P: Joan Miller, Vancouver Island North Film Commission, CANADA.
Second V-P: Mikael Svensson, Oresund Film Commission, SWEDEN.
Treasurer: Drew Mayer-Oakes, San Antonio Film Commission, USA.
Secretary: Jerry Day, Tuolumne County Film Commission, USA.
