Necessary goods donated: Robyn Ellsworth, Second Chance Recovery House Fundraiser/Administrative Assistant, and Ken Bueckert of the Campbell River Oldtimers Hockey Club hold up examples of the $500 worth of items purchased and donated to the Second Chance Recovery House for men. Items included Toiletries (razors, shaving cream, shampoo, etc.), undergarments, and coffee gift cards. The Club raised the money from the Oldtimers Hockey Tournament they hosted last October. The Hockey Club got a generous discount on the toiletries and a case of free chocolates for the House from Shoppers Drug Mart. - Photo submitted
