Winter traditions around the world
As part of the “Cultural Exchanges Project” the Immigrant Welcome Centre has partnered with the Museum and Arts Council to host Winter Traditions Around the World.
Mark your calendars: Dec 1, Saturday 1-4 p.m. (only 2.5 weeks away!)
You can book your free table to share your winter traditions with others or just come out & enjoy the displays.
Displays can include:
- crafts
- decorations
- baking
- stories & history
- pictures
- figurines
- costumes etc.
Please contact the Museum to book your table, call 250-287-3103. You may be able to partner with another group or share a table if you wish.
We will have a small budget to help with ingredients, craft materials etc., please contact Shannon to discuss this at 250-830-0171 ext 810
The next Cultural Exchanges Advisory meeting will be Thursday from 12-12:45 p.m.
The Interfaith Advisory meeting will be after, -1:45 p.m.
