The first 2017 release of In the Spotlight, is ready to read.
The current issue of the quarterly newsletter from the City’s economic development officer focuses on the technology sector.
“A number of exciting, technology-related initiatives are underway in Campbell River,” explains economic development officer Rose Klukas. “For example, on April 5, Innovation Island is coming to Campbell River to present its Start-Up 101 for Technology Entrepreneurs workshop. Register soon for this fantastic opportunity to learn about best practices and what it takes to be a tech start-up.”
This issue of In the Spotlight also includes information on the City’s municipal broadband network, the new online investment portal and the Vancouver Island Sustainable Technology Expo slated for June.
The newsletter was launched last year and is distributed electronically via the City’s website (sign up for email distribution through the Newsroom at www.campbellriver.ca) and social media platforms. Paper copies are available at City Hall.
