Chamber honours its past, looks to the future

Over 100 members and special guests, including past Chamber presidents and long standing Chamber Members (30+ years) filled the room to capacity and enjoyed sumptuous appetizers, networking and reminiscing.

Maureen Kirkbride, Chair of the BC Chamber of Commerce brought congratulatory remarks on the Chamber’s 80th Anniversary noting that the Chamber was founded before the Village of Campbell River was even incorporated and commending the Chamber on its role in contributing to the growth of the community. She also congratulated the Chamber on its growth and achievements as a respected business organization resulting in recognition with Honourable Mention for Chamber of the Year 2012. Gary Thulin, Board Chair of the Campbell River Chamber, and Colleen Evans, President and CEO thanked the Chamber Members for their support and participation in Chamber initiatives.
